About Me.
​​Based in Atlanta, GA, Ama Larbi is a Ghanaian-American writer and producer. She is the owner, head writer and executive producer of Anthealogy Productions and co-founder of Film Family Organization – a non-profit that provides resources and community beyond the screen for filmmakers of color.
​
The daughter of Ghanaian immigrants and an avid traveler, Ama uses her experiences to create works that illuminate global perspectives and experiences. ​Ultimately, she aspires to utilize her art as activism to encompass her passion for education, entertainment and the betterment of the human experience.
​
Ama currently serves as a Producer at ESSENCE Studios assisting with TV/Film development, ESSENCE Film Festival, live experiences and more.
